A little about my job:

I have a bit of a “dream job” in that we get to introduce passengers to the world’s most important sites and give them life-long memories in all the places our ships visit. Lots of times this means getting these same experiences myself. Though I’m based ashore now, I spent seven years as Shore Excursion Manager aboard a number of Princess ships.

What item is in your suitcase that you couldn’t travel without?

A power convertor.

What’s your most treasured travel souvenir?

Choosing one is difficult but I would say a leather jacket that I bargained for in Turkey. It’s memorable mostly because I got it at the end of my first shipboard season in Europe and I bartered for it with the assistance of our tour operator who is still a good friend. It’s something that I wear often.

What’s the most memorable dish you’ve eaten during your travels?

Duck’s feet.

What’s your travel motto?

Relax, you’ll get there and if you forgot something, you don’t need it or you can buy it wherever you are.

Where haven’t you been that’s on your travel bucket list?

A Nile River cruise; Xian, China and Bangkok, Thailand.
