1.

What item is in your suitcase that you couldn’t travel without?

Pictures of my daughters.

2.

What’s your most treasured travel souvenir?

My most treasured souvenir is a rosary I purchased in Barcelona – Gaudi Church called La Sagrada Familia. I purchased the rosary for my grandmother in July of 1999 when I sailed aboard Grand Princess. Her ancestors were from Spain and she’d always wanted to visit. However, she traveled through me and I shared with her many stories of Spain and my visit to La Sagrada Familia church. She was a devout catholic and I purchased the rosary for her and she wore it every day. Unfortunately, my grandmother passed in July of 2008 and now I have it next to her picture. It’s truly one of my most treasured souvenirs.

3.

What’s the most memorable dish you’ve eaten during your travels?

It was in Punta del Este, Uruguay. I was traveling for business, and our general sales agent took us up to the mountains to a family ranch. At 10 p.m. we were eating the finest steaks I had ever tasted. Yes, 10 in the evening.

4.

What’s your travel motto?

Travel to me is a reminder of how we never stop learning.

5.

Where haven’t you been that’s on your travel bucket list?

Great Barrier Reef and the Taj Mahal.
