A BlackBerry charger.

A stone I picked up from the D-Day landing beaches in Normandy.

It was a breakfast at sunrise on the Serengeti, of fresh baked bread and locally grown coffee.

I subscribe to author Henry Miller’s view that “One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things.”

Scuba diving in Truk Lagoon.

    I need your help if possible. I am booked on the Caribbean Princess cruise to Norwegian fjords leaving Southampton on 17 June. The ship is in Flaam on 20 June. I already made a reservation for the tour to Naeroyfjord leaving 8am and returning to the ship at 12 noon. I also wanted to make a reservation for the Flaam railway tour leaving at 12.20pm but the booking system will not allow this. I know it is tight, but the railway station in Flaam is right next to the dock, so as long as the Naeroyfjord tour returns on time it should be possible to make it. I’m told I can ask the Shore Excursion Manager on board the ship whether it is possible, but I’m concerned that the tour could have sold out by then. Please advise if it is possible to take both tours and how I can make the reservation in advance
